I’m Icon Placaso, a tattoo artist with 14 years of experience and a lifelong dedication to art. My background is rooted in Prison and Chicano-style artwork, which shaped my eye for contrast, depth, and storytelling — elements that now define my approach to black & grey realism.
Over the years, I’ve committed myself to pushing my craft forward, focusing on photo-realism, portraits, memorials, and meaningful custom pieces. I travel, attend conventions, and continue refining my techniques to ensure every tattoo I create is technically strong, intentional, and built to last.
Each piece is designed specifically for the client — no shortcuts, no rushed work. My goal is to create realism that holds emotion, ages well, and leaves a lasting impression.
